Granted, the new Plurk Widget is rather cool, but you may find that whatever you do, it doesn't fit well with your design. What I did was write a simple plugin for ed (the custom platform that this site is running on) that uses SimplePie, a PHP RSS aggregator class.
With a little work, I've reworked the plugin into a bit of code that will enable anyone with a bit of PHP experience to embed their Plurk feed into their site without too much trouble.
You'll need SimplePie set up on your server somewhere, and edit the relevant code to point to it. Don't worry, there are comments that explain everything. Thumbnails don't work at the moment (I'll see if I can implement it in some way), but links and smilies work just fine
